1 GENLOCK indicator
On when the camera operates in the GENLOCK mode
(external synchronization).
2 TALLY indicators
R TALLY and G TALLY indicators
The R TALLY indicator is also on when the CALL
switch on the camera head or another unit is pushed.
3 CALL switch
The R TALLY indicator on the camera head is on only
when this switch is pushed.
During parallel mode (see Section 4.2, "Setting the Right
to Control the BS to Remote Control Panels") operation,
the R TALLY indicator on a connected control panel is
also on.
4 PHONE knob
Controls the volume on the intercom receiver.
5 MIC switch
Turns the intercom microphone on or off.
When the microphone is on, conversation is enabled.
6 INTERCOM connector
Connects an intercom headset. The connector differs
depending on the specifications.
Conversation on the ENG line is enabled.
7 Panel fixing screws
The RBK-79 or RCP-50 is used according to the purpose.
These screws are used to fix the RBK-79 or RCP-50.
For RCP-50 operation, refer to the separate-volume
instruction manual.
8 CABLE indicators
Indicates the status of the camera cable. If only the
warning (yellow) indicator is on, check the camera cable
and connector.
• NORMAL: Normal status
The BS checks the camera code transmitted
from the camera head to confirm that the
camera head is an applicable model, then
supplies power to the camera head.
• OPTICAL LEVEL: Whether each indicator is on or off
differs depending on cable length and to what
extent the optical connectors become dirty. For
details, see "Supplementary information" on the
next page.
"HEAD" indicates the camera head side and
"BS" indicates the BS side.
• OPEN: On when no camera cable is connected or
there is an open in the camera cable.
• SHORT: On when a short circuit occurs in the
cameral cable or connector due to a cause such
as water.
