The OCP (or RCP-50) and MCP can be used in either of the parallel and split modes.

When the PANEL ENABLE switch (camera select switch for the MCP) on the OCP is in the "OFF" position, the OCP cannot

be used to control the camera head.  To use the OCP, place the switch to the "ON" position.

The RCP-50 and OCP can be used in the split mode.

In the above figure, the RCP-50 or OCP can be used to control the camera head.  To grant the control right, press the PANEL

ENABLE switch on the target remote control panel.

The RCP-50 and OCP can be used in the parallel mode.

In the above figure, when switch 1 of S1 (DIP switch) on the RCP-50 CONT BOARD is in the "ON" position, both the RCP-

50 and OCP can be used to control the camera head.  During parallel operation, the potentiometers and AUTO IRIS switch

on the RCP-50 do not accept operation.  You can operate other switches, rotary encoders, and LCD touchpanel, however.

Parallel operation may be performed with the devices connected as described above and switch 1 of S1 (DIP switch) on the

RCP-50 CONT BOARD placed in the "OFF" position.  In this case, if both remote control panels have a potentiometer for

the same function, control can become unstable.
