Set-up
Set the baud rate of the serial interface

► Enter "RS 232" as name
► Select [Serial (RS232)] as device
► Confirm with [OK]

► Double-click to change the baud rate step
by step until the value corresponds to the
setting in the controllere

► Adopt with [ENTER]
► Confirm with [OK]
► Test connection with the menu sequence
[Online] > [Login]

If response "Communication Error", then:
► change the baud rate step by step and
test communication again

If there is a connection between the PC

Ethernet (option)
To connect the PC with the programming software directly to the optional Ethernet programming
interface of the controllere, you need a cross-over patch cable Cat5 with RJ45 connector on both
sides.
