General description
1.8. Cleaning
If necessary, the TERRA heat pump can be cleaned
using a humid cloth. The use of cleaning agents is
not recommended.
The air vent package in the air heat exchanger
has to be inspected regularly and cleared of any im-
purities (e.g. foliage,...), if necessary.
To avoid water damage, the condensation bin and the
condensation run-o
ff
tube must be cleaned regularly.
1.9. Ice-Covering outdoor unit
Depending on the weather and outdoor humidity, it
may happen that there will be formed an icy covering
on the protective grids of the heat pump. This e
ff
ect
is common occuring in nature. This covering must
be removed by the heat pump operator during this
weather periods.
- The installation of the indoor parts (loading pump,
electrical cabinet ...) in wet or damp environ-
ments or in areas exposed to dust or explosion
hazards is non-permissible.
- In the case of danger, leave the installation site
immediately.
- The indoor parts of the heat pump must not be
installed in rooms with high EMC load!
- If the heat pump is installed near the coast, at
least 5 km safety distance must be respected. If
the distance is not respected, it is to be expected
with increased corrosion. This case is excluded
from the warranty.
- The indoor parts of the TERRA AL 60
Max heat pump has to be installed in
a frost-proof room! (room temperature
must lie between 5°C and 25°C!)
Since the temperatures in heating mode
inside the outdoor unit are even under
the ambient-temperature, it may come
to a condensation on the cabinet of the
outdoor unit.
1.10. Installation area
All hydraulic pipings and all wall ducts
must be thermally insulated and sound-
decoupled. Water piping must be de-
signed frost-proof.
