3.1 Overview
The KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader supports CC-Link IE Field Basic communication (slave station).
KW2D Series Smart RFID reader works as a slave station in CC-Link Field Basic communication and communication can
be performed with CC-Link Field Basic devices such as programmable displays or PLCs.

CC-Link IE Field Basic shared memory for communication is a memory that can be accessed by CC-Link IE Field Basic
master.
When
CC-Link IE Field Basic Slave
is selected in
Communication Mode

RFID
Reader Settings
tab, the shared memory of the KW2D Smart RFID Reader is read or written via CC-Link IE Field
Basic Slave shared memory. The assignment of the shared memory is as follows.
