Connection Settings
Sets the connections to use for the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader. Select "ModbusTCP Server", "EtherNet/IP
Adapter", "CC-Link IE Field Basic Slave", "Event Transmission(TCP)", "Event Transmission(UDP)", "Unused(For Demo)",
"ModbusTCP Server(Maintenance)", "Maintenance Communication Server" or "Unused" from the Communication
Mode. The default is "ModbusTCP Server".

ModbusTCP Server

This is the communication mode for reading the tag information of RFID
tags. If the communication is lost for 10 seconds or longer, the red LEDs
on the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader flash.
To restrict access to the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader, select the
Restrict
check box, and then enter the IP address from which access is
allowed in the
Allow Access by IP Address
field.

ModbusTCP Server
(Maintenance)

This is used to monitor the status of the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader
on another host device.
To restrict access to the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader, select the
Restrict
check box, and then enter the IP address of the device to which
access is allowed in the
Allow Access by IP Address
field.

This is used to monitor the status of the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader
on another host device.
To restrict access to the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader, select the

Event Transmission(TCP)

The KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader operates as a client and performs
TCP communication with the host device operating as a server.

Performs UDP communication with the host device without a connection.
