Select the
Communications
page tab to configure the basic system parameters,
network settings, e-mail settings, user setup, and maintenance functions.
Click on the
BASIC SETUP
tab to configure the device name, set the date and time
and enable the watchdog timer and data logging features. Click the
Save Settings
button at the bottom of the page to store your changes.
Power System Device Info
Device Name:
Enter a device name for the system (this will be used for all e-
mailed messages)
Model, Hardware:
Model # and hardware revision are noted here.
Date and Time Settings
Current System Time:
The system
’s
internal clock setting is noted here.
Synchronize with NTP Server:
Check this box (default) to synchronize the
system time with an NTP server’s time.
NTP Server:
Enter an NTP server address (e.g. time.nist.gov) to automatically
load the system time from.
Time Zone:
Select a time zone to ensure the correct local time is used for the
system time.
Set Time Manually:
Check this box to enter the
Date
and
Time
manually.
