Using [Digital Button]:
1. Push [Digital Button] to enter the Application
Selection mode.

The current call type is briefly displayed, then “VOICE”
is displayed.

2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select “MSG,” then
push [Digital Button].

•To move the cursor, push [

•To delete all, hold down [#] for 1 second.
• To cancel, push [dPMR Button].
5. After entering a message, hold down [dPMR
Button] for 1 second to save the message.
6. Push [dPMR Button] to enter the Destination ID
Selection mode.
7. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the
destination ID.
8. Push [PTT] to transmit the entered message to
the selected station or Talkgroup.
• “MSG OK” is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgement from the target station.
• “MSG FAIL” is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement.
