SCAN OPERATION

Starting a Scan
A Scan checks for signals on each channel and stops
when a signal is received.
NOTE:
Two or more channels must be preset to start
a Scan.
<Key operation>
Push [Scan Start/Stop] to start a Scan.
•“
” (Portable) blinks.
•The scan text is displayed, depending on the presetting.

When a signal is detected, the Scan pauses on the
channel until the signal disappears, and then the Scan
resumes.
<Menu operation>
TIP:
The Portable type transceiver’s operations are
described in
red
. And the Mobile type transceiver’s
operations are described in
blue
.
