• Squelch Level “SQL LEVEL”
Set the squelch level to between 0 and 9.

Set the minimum audio output level to between 0 and
255.
This set level is used when [VOL] is set to the
minimum audio position.

Set the microphone sensitivity to between 1(Min) and
5 (Max).
Higher values make the microphone more sensitive to
the user voice.

(For the Portable type transceiver)
Set the VOX gain to OFF, or to between 1 and 6.
The VOX function automatically switches between
receive and transmit without needing to push [PTT].
Higher values make the VOX function more sensitive
to the user voice.

• VOX Delay “VOX DELAY”
(For the Portable type transceiver)
Set the VOX Delay to between 0.5 and 3.0 seconds.
The VOX Delay is the amount of time the transmitter
stays ON after the user stops speaking before the
VOX switches to receive.

the VOX Delay to between 0.5 and 3.0 seconds,
and then push [P1](OK) to save.

• Firmware Information “FIRM INFO”
Displays the transceiver’s firmware information.
When an optional unit is installed, you can also check
the unit information.
Depending on the installed unit, only the name may
be displayed.

• Clone Comment “CLN COMMENT”

and the clone comment 2 is on the lower line.

• ESN “ESN”
Displays the transceiver’s ESN (Electric Serial
Number).
