TRANSMISSION, ENSURE THAT THE CONNECTION DISTANCE IS WITHIN 10
METERS (33 FEET) AND THERE ARE NO OBSTACLES,SUCH AS PARTITIONS,
ETC., BETWEEN THE DEVICE AND THE TRANSMITTER.
DISABLING AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF
DRAINS THE BATTERY AT AN INCREASED
RATE. SET THE AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF TIME TO SAVE POWER.
DON’T CONNECT THE DEVICE TO INSECURE OR PUBLIC NETWORKS.
8-19-9-2 Automatic Shutoff
Automatic shutoff is disabled by default but can be enabled as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Hibernation tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Automatic Shutoff (abbreviated Auto Off) sub-
tab.
4. Select a time limit by tapping preferred option: 5 minutes, 15 minutes,
30 minutes, 60 minutes, or Never. Selecting Never will disable automatic
shutoff mode. The selected option will have a blue check mark next to it.
5. Press the < Hibernation button to save and exit the sub-tab.
6. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.

8-19-10-1 Wi-Fi Settings
Connect to wireless Internet as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the W-Fi tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, toggle Wi-Fi to the On position by tapping the
switch. The switch turns green when active. Available Wi-Fi networks will
populate. Disable Wi-Fi by tapping the switch again.
4. Tap a network to connect. Networks without passwords will connect
automatically. For networks requiring passwords: first, tap the input box
next to Password; keyboard appears. Then, use the keyboard by tapping
the touchscreen to input current password. Finally, tap Join to connect to
the network. Tap Cancel to cancel network connection.
5. Press the Back button exit the main menu.
