ENSURE THE PROPER DISTANCE UNIT IS SELECTED FOR YOUR APPLICATION.
METERS, INCHES, AND YARD (CODE) UNITS ARE AVAILABLE.
MEASUREMENT IN YARDS IS AVAILABLE BY SELECTING THE CODE OPTION
FROM THE DISTANCE UNIT MENU.
8-19-7 Distance Units
By default the imager is set to measure temperatures in meters. Change the
distance unit as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Unit Switch tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Distance Unit. A rotary menu appears.
4. Press up or down on the Thumbstick to define distance unit: meter, inch,
or yards (code).
5. Press the Back button to save and exit the rotary menu.
6. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
HIGHER MEGAPIXEL IMAGES TAKE UP MORE SPACE. OPT FOR A LOWER
RESOLUTION IMAGE IF CAPTURING A LARGE NUMBER OF IMAGES.

8-19-8-1 Visible Camera Settings
The default resolution for visible images is 1024 x 768. Users can achieve up to
13 MP as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Save Parameters (abbreviated
Save Param) tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Visible Light Resolution. A rotary menu appears.
4. Press up or down on the Thumbstick to define camera resolution: 1024 x
768, 5 MP or 13 MP.
5. Press the Back button to save and exit the rotary menu.
6. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
