8-4-2 Power On/Off the Laser
Use the laser to assist in location awareness.
1.
Using the touchscreen, tap the Quick Access Menu bar located at the
bottom of the screen. Quick Access Menu opens.
2. Tap the Laser button to power on the laser. Feature highlights blue when
enabled. Tap the Laser button again to power off the laser.
3. Press the Back button to close the
Quick Access Menu
.
8-4-3 Laser Range
Users can determine the distance to a target object by using the Laser Range
function. This tool sends out a pulse of laser light and measures the round trip
time to estimate the distance to the target object.
Press the Laser Range button to begin ranging. The distance is calculated
internally; when measurement is complete, the result is shown on screen. The
measurement will disappear after some time.
