Manual Level & Span Adjustment
The user has control of contrast gain settings and can adjust the Level & Span
as follows:
1.
Press the Level & Span button on the back of the device until the Ⓜ icon
appears below the Level & Span bar.
2. Tap the lock next to the maximum temperature. A rotary menu appears.
3. Press up or down on the Thumbstick to select a temperature.
4. Press the Back button to save and exit the rotary menu.
5. Tap the lock next to the minimum temperature. A rotary menu appears.
6. Press up or down on the Thumbstick to select a temperature.
7. Press the Back button to save and exit the rotary menu.
8-14-4-3 Semi-Auto Gain Control (S-AGC)
The Semi-Auto Gain Control (S-AGC) function assists users in fine-tuning image
contrast based on a
temperature differential (△T)
. Adjust the gain controls as
follows:
1.
Press the Level & Span button on the back of the device until the Ⓢ icon
appears below the Level & Span bar. A
△T numerical value appears at the
top of the screen.
2. Adjust the
△T numerical value using
the Thumbstick. Press up to increase
the maximum temperature and decrease the minimum temperature
simultaneously. Press down to decrease the maximum temperature and
increase the minimum temperature simultaneously. During the adjustment
process, the image contrast changes simultaneously.
