31) STORING TIRES AFTER REMOVAL
As basic rule, store the tires in a warehouse which
unauthorized persons cannot enter. If the tire are
stored outside, always erect a fence around the tires
and put up "No Entry" and other warning signs that
even young children can understand.
Stand the tire on level ground, and block it securely
so that it cannot roll or fall over.
If the tire should fall over, get out of the way quickly.
The tires for construction equipment are extremely
heavy, so trying to hold the tire may lead to serious
injury.
32) CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL
(1) The oil level check must be carried out as fol-
lows; oil level check (weekly).
(2) Before the oil level check, the transmission
must have been running to warm up enough.
(3) When the oil level is checked, the machine
must be on flat ground and the engine must be
at idling speed. Transmission must be in neutral
position.
(4) Check the oil level on level (sight) gauge.
