Using FM800E with a CRS System
The FM800E can be connected to the following PC-based Central Review Systems:
•
Sonicaid FetalCare analysis and replay system
•
Sonicaid Centrale
•
Obstetric Archive
•
Other CRS systems which are fully compatible with the Sonicaid, Huntleigh or
‘HP 50’ protocols
The FM800E has been designed to work ONLY with the
listed systems. This does not mean that it is incompatible
with other systems based on the HP50 communications
protocol.

Connecting FM800E to FetalCare
1 Connect the Sonicaid FetalCare connecting lead to the RS232 connector on the rear of
FM800E. See Section 2.4.
2 Connect the lead to the COM1 port on the rear of the Sonicaid FetalCare.
3 Make sure the FM800E has the Sonicaid interface enabled. See Section 5.6.
