Appendix 1: Getting Started with
Sonicaid Freedom

Connecting the Sonicaid Freedom Wireless Transducer System
1.
Ensure the receiver aerial is fitted and securely fastened to the connector on the
rear panel.
2.
Connect the power cable from a suitable wall socket to the mains connector on
the rear panel.
3.
Plug the end of the data cable labelled T840E into the
15-way ‘D’ socket on the rear panel.
4.
Plug the other end of the cable labelled FM800 into the
15-way ‘D’ socket on the rear panel of the FM800E.
5.
Before operating, ensure the transducers are plugged in
and fully charged (takes 3 to 4 hours).
To prevent equipment damage and possible personal injury,
do not position the receiver on top of the FM800E without
using a secure mounting method. A suitable system is
available from Huntleigh Healthcare Ltd.
