Note:
With the Sonicaid FM830E cuffs, the hose is offset towards the end of the bladder.
Do not use the hose as the artery position marker, as this will position the end of the
bladder over the artery instead of the correct centre point. Depending on the cuff size
relative to the arm circumference, this can result in artificially high pressure readings.
For correct cuff positioning using the Sonicaid FM830E cuffs, the hose should be behind
the arm as shown in the right hand image above, with the artery alignment mark over the
artery, not with the tube in front, as shown on the left.
An incorrectly aligned cuff may result in errors in the BP
measurement.
