1. If the server fails the POST memory test,
reseat
the DIMMs.
2. Remove and replace any DIMM for which
the
associated error LED is lit (see “Removing a
DIMM” and “Replacing a DIMM”).
3. Run the Setup utility to enable all the
DIMMs.

Uncorrectable DIMM error
1. If the server failed the POST memory test,
reseat
the DIMMs.
2. Remove and replace any DIMM for which
the
associated error LED is lit (see “Removing a
DIMM” and “Replacing a DIMM”).
3. Run the Setup utility to enable all the
DIMMs.

DIMM mismatch detected
Make sure that the DIMMs match and are
installed in the correct sequence (see “Memory
cards and memory modules (DIMM)”).

No memory detected
1. Make sure that the server contains DIMMs.
2. Reseat the memory cards.
3. Reseat the DIMMs.
4. Install the memory cards and DIMMs in the
correct sequence (see “Memory cards and
memory modules (DIMM)”).

No usable memory detected
1. Make sure that the server contains DIMMs.
2. Reseat the memory cards.
3. Reseat the DIMMs.
4. Install the memory cards and DIMMs in the
correct sequence (see “Memory cards and
memory modules (DIMM)”).
5. Clear CMOS memory to re-enable all the
memory connectors.

PFA threshold exceeded
1. Update the firmware (see “Updating the
firmware”).
2. Reseat the DIMMs and run the memory test.
3. Replace the failing DIMM, which is
indicated by a lit LED on the memory card.

1. Reseat the memory cards and DIMMs, and
then
restart the server.
