User management
User management provides functions of creating, modifying, and deleting a user and
viewing user information. The users are grouped into three levels:
–
Super administrator
A Super administrator has the right to access and operate the VIS6000 without any
limitation.
–
Administrator
Except the right to user management, an administrator has the right to access the
VIS6000 without any limitation.
–
Guest
A guest only has the right to read data on the VIS6000.
l
Security Management
Security management provides the function of CHAP management. After configuring the
GE interface module and then enabling the CHAP authentication, the VIS6000 connects
to the application server (AS), and then the AS checks the validity of the VIS6000 that
requests to establish a connection. In this way, the access from ASs to the VIS6000 becomes
more secure.
