Ensure that you tighten the nut to the specified torque. The failure torque for the pipe nut of
the liquid pipe stop valve is 70 N·m and that for the pipe nut of the gas pipe stop valve is 100
N·m. The torque greater than the failure torque will damage the screw thread.

Step 3
Weld the indoor unit pipes.
Side pipe routing: Open the knock-out hole on the side panel, and weld the gas/liquid
connection and the straight section of the engineering pipe outside the cabinet. Open the
pipe nut of the stop valve and tighten the welded pipe to the stop valve by the torque
wrench.

Side pipe routing
Bottom pipe routing: Open the rubber hole on the bottom plate. Weld the gas/liquid
connection and gas/liquid pipe outside the cabinet. Open the pipe nut of stop valve and
tighten the welded pipe component to the stop valve. Weld the welded pipe component to
the engineering pipe in the cabinet.
