16.3.4 What can I do if my phone can't install an application?

Your phone supports third-party applications in APK format only. Make sure the
application you are trying to download is in this format.

If the app is not from the app center, you need to set the phone to trust the app source and
then install the app. Go to
Settings > Security . Touch Unknown sources . Then, install
the app again.

The third-party application may not be compatible with your phone. Try using similar
apps.
16.3.5 How do I install or move applications to the microSD card?

By default, third-party applications are installed to your phone's internal storage. The
default installation location can't be changed. However, you can move some third-party
applications to the microSD card on certain phone models.

After you move an application to the microSD card, if you uninstall, remove, or format
the microSD card, the application will be unavailable.

Go to the Settings screen, touch Manage apps , touch the application you want to move,
and touch Move to SD card .
16.3.6 What can I do if an application close unexpectedly?

You phone memory may be insufficient. To free up your phone memory: Go to Phone
Manager, touch
Phone accelerator or Storage cleaner , and follow the onscreen
instructions to clean your phone.

Some third-party applications may not be compatible with your phone. You can try
replacing them with similar applications.

If the problem persists, restart your phone or back up important data and restore your
phone to its factory settings.

Huawei releases updates at its official website from time to time. For better user
experience, go to Huawei's official website to download and install updates for your
phone model or use the online update feature to update your phone.
16.3.7 How do I prevent third-party applications from
automatically starting up?
Go to the Settings screen, touch More > Protected apps , and clear the applications that you
want to forbid.
16.3.8 How do I close background applications?

Go to the Settings screen and touch Manage apps . Under Running , select the
application you want to close, touch Stop , and follow the onscreen instructions to close
the application.

If your phone is installed with Phone Manager, close the apps using Phone Manager.

On Phone Manager screen, touch Phone accelerator , and close the background apps at
the touch of a button.
16.3.9 Does my phone support mobile banking apps?
Your phone only supports mobile banking apps developed for Android.
