compared to the preview?

You can select the selfie mirroring function in settings to keep consistency between the photo
and the preview.

4.150 What can I do if the camera fails to focus, there is
shadowing, or the viewfinder is shaky when taking
photos using the OIS camera?

Your phone supports optical image stabilization (OIS). Please check whether your phone's flip
case or protective cover contains metal or magnetic materials. Non-magnetic materials are
preferable. In addition, if your phone has been dropped from a height or has been exposed to
strong magnets, please take it to a service center for inspection. Some phones, including the
P8, support OIS. The following everyday appliances are magnetic: PC speakers, televisions,
voice recorders, radios, mobile phone speakers, mobile phone receivers, magnetizing water
cups, and magnetic therapy equipment and appliances that use a magnetic coil, such as
induction hobs, microwaves, and solenoids.

4.151 How many stabilization axes does the phone's
camera have?

Phone cameras (including the P8) use 2-axis stabilization technology. This is mainly due to
size limitations.

4.152 Why can't the stabilization function work properly
on a bus or in the subway?

This is normal. Your phone is provided with the best compensation in the industry. However,
due to the limited stabilization range of your camera, when the compensation range is
exceeded, the stabilization effect can't be guaranteed.

4.153 Why is the OIS inferior to an SLR camera?

Your phone's camera uses 2-axis optical image stabilization. This is mainly due to size
limitations. Professional SLR lenses and telephoto lenses in particular are not subject to the
same size limitations as camera phones and can therefore offer 3-axis or even 5-axis image
stabilization. SLR cameras can therefore offer better vibration compensation.
