11.1 Why does the 4G icon appear very briefly and then
disappear after I have inserted a 2G/3G SIM card?
When in an area with 4G coverage, if the 4G icon appears very briefly and then your phone
reverts back to a 3G network, this is because you have not activated 4G services for your SIM
card. If your phone supports 4G networks but you have not activated 4G services on your SIM
card, your phone will attempt to connect to the 4G network, but the connection attempt will
be refused by the carrier and your phone will revert to a 3G network.
If you have not enabled 4G services for your SIM card, disable 4G on your phone using one
of the following methods:
1. Disable 4G from the drop-down menu, which can be accessed from the status bar.
2. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Preferred network type and disable 4G.
11.2 Why is the signal bar showing no signal?
1. Check that your SIM card is inserted correctly.
2. If your SIM card is inserted correctly, check whether you have run out of credit.
3. If the problem persists, contact your carrier's customer service hotline.
11.3 Why can't I access the Internet when attempting to
browse web pages or download files?
1. Contact your carrier to check whether you have activated mobile data services.
2. Check whether your mobile data connection is enabled.
3. If your phone settings are correct and you still can't access the Internet, insert your SIM
card into another phone that supports mobile data to check whether the SIM card is faulty.
