Description
Indicates the signal strength. More vertical bars indicate stronger signal.
Indicates that the handset is in use.
az
Indicates that the current text-entry method is lower-case letters.
AZ
Indicates that the current text-entry method is upper-case letters.
0-9
Indicates that the current text-entry method is digits.
Indicates the battery power level.
Appears on the LCD in standby mode if the sleep mode is enabled.
Indicates that the alarm function is enabled.
Indicates that the microphone is turned off.
Indicates that the hands-free function is enabled.
Indicates one or more missed calls. After the missed calls are viewed, this icon
disappears.
Indicates that the keypad is locked.
Indicates that the speaker is muted. To turn off the speaker, press and hold
. To turn on the speaker, press and hold
again.
Powering On/Off
Before powering on the handset, ensure that the battery is installed.

The handset powers on automatically if placed on the desk stand.
