5.1 Call Forwarding

The call forwarding function enables you to forward incoming calls to a specified phone number
or Voicemail. The eSpace 8850 supports the following four call forwarding modes:

l

Call Forward All (CFA): All incoming calls are forwarded to a specified phone number or
Voicemail regardless of the user status.

l

Call Forward Busy (CFB): Incoming calls are forwarded to a specified phone number or
Voicemail when the user is busy.

l

Call Forward No Answer (CFNA): An incoming call is forwarded to a specified phone
number or Voicemail if the user does not answer the call within a specified period, for
example, 20 seconds.

l

Call Forward Offline (CFO): Incoming calls are forwarded to a specified phone number or
Voicemail when the user is offline.

NOTE

l

To use the call forwarding function, ensure that your account has been assigned the call forwarding
service right. If you have any questions, contact the system administrator.

l

The call forwarding function is available only for the current account. For subsequently registered
accounts, the call forwarding function must be enabled again.

l

CFA, CFB, CFNA, and CFO services can be enabled simultaneously on the eSpace 8850.

You can perform the following operations to enable or disable the call forwarding functions:
