4.1 Login Registration

4.1.1 Log In

If no account is registered with the eSpace 8850, the login screen is displayed when the phone
is started.

You can perform the following operations to log in to the home screen of the phone:

1.

Power on and then start the phone. The login screen is displayed.

2.

Type the user name and password.

3.

Tap 

Log In

. The home screen is displayed.

You can also tap 

Back

 to access the home screen to configure or view basic settings.

NOTE

On the login screen, you can tap 

 at the lower-right corner to access the 

Service Server

 screen

to view and modify the information of the service server.

4.1.2 Account and Line

The eSpace 8850 provides six lines. You can configure one account for each line or configure
multiple accounts for one line.

NOTE

By default, two lines are configured for an account during the registration.

You can choose 

Advanced

 > 

Account and Line

 to configure and view accounts and lines. For details,

contact the system administrator.

Multiple Lines

When the call waiting, call transfer, and local conference functions are used, the call must be
switched among lines so that you must configure at least two lines for the current account.

l

Multiple accounts: Multiple accounts can be configured on one phone.
After multiple accounts are configured incoming calls for different accounts can be received
simultaneously.

l

Multiple lines: Multiple lines are assigned for one phone. Each account can be configured
for multiple lines.

When a line is occupied, you can tap the line button to change the line. You can change the line
during dialing, incoming call, or calling.
