Removal and Replacement Procedures 

10.  Press the fan cage release latch (1). 

11.  Pull the fan cage out of the enclosure until it locks in the open position (2). 

12.  Open the access door. See the “Opening the Access Door” section in this chapter. 

13.  Disconnect the fan cable from the power backplane (3).
