Performing a Graceful Shutdown
Two methods are available for performing a graceful shutdown on a ProLiant BL e-Class
server blade:
Using the Integrated Administrator
Pressing the server blade power button
Using the Integrated Administrator
You can perform a graceful shutdown of a ProLiant BL e-Class server blade by using the
“Power Off” option in the Integrated Administrator. To power down a server blade using the
Integrated Administrator, refer to the

Pressing the Server Blade Power Button
You can also perform a graceful shutdown of a ProLiant BL e-Class server blade by pressing
the power button on the front of the server blade.
