clear lldp neighbors
Use the
clear lldp neighbors
command to remove all neighbors from this unit’s database. As new local
loop demarcation point (LLDP) packets are received, the database will contain information about
neighbors included in those frames.
Syntax Description
No subcommands.
Default Values
There are no default settings for this command.
Functional Notes
This command generates output indicating the names of any neighbors deleted from the database and the
name of the interface on which the neighbor was learned.
Usage Examples
The following example clears LLDP neighbor Switch_1 from the Ethernet interface 0/1:

LLDP: Deleted neighbor “Switch_1” on interface eth 0/1
