DSAP or DCOM stops.

Cause.
DSAP or DCOM detected that the disk contained unspared bad sectors.
Effect.
If this message appears during a DCOM run, DCOM terminates without performing any
compression. If this message appears during a DSAP operation, DSAP issues the appropriate error
messages and continues processing.
Recovery.
It is best to spare the defective sectors. You can specify IGNOREBADSECTORS and
rerun DCOM, but use this procedure only with caution.

Cause.
DCOM encountered an error while doing a read during an extent move.
Effect.
DCOM cancels that extent move.
Recovery.
