General user manual:
DIY SYRINGE
The instructions must be read before use.
This sprayer consists of pressure elements that present the risk of
breakage and the projection of liquid if the instructions in this ma-
nual are not followed.
If you have any doubts concerning its use, contact the manufactu-
rer.

FIELD OF APPLICATION
This apparatus is designed for the application of hydrocarbon-based
solvent products (wood and framework treatment products, wood
preservatives), hydrocarbon-based waterproofing agents for fa-
çades, hydrocarbon-based form oil and hydrocarbon-based detar-
ring agents. It can also be used for the application of garden plant
protecting agents (fungicides, herbicides, insecticides).
For any other application, you MUST CONSULT THE MANUFAC-
TURER.
To date, there is no indication that plant protecting agents approved
by the BBA (Biologische Bundesanstalt für Land-und
Forstwirtschaft) have a damaging effect on the materials that com-
pose the sprayer.

SAFETY RULES / CHECKS TO BE CARRIED OUT
IMPORTANT: This apparatus must not be used to contain or
spray chlorinated solutions, acids, oxygenic solvents
(acetates, ether, ketones), bleach or its derivatives, or disinfec-
tants.
- Put on protective clothing, gloves goggles and a mask first of all.
- Check that there are no leaks on the apparatus by spraying 2 litres
of water.
The apparatus must not be used in temperatures under 5°C or over
40°C (picto. 1, 2).
The water that is used to mix the agent must not exceed 25°C.
- Only use in calm weather (no wind).
- Do not use flammable products in your sprayer
(picto. 3) , or any explosive (picto. 4) , acid and/or correosive (picto.
5) products.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the treatment agents
(dosage, application method, rinsing).
After each use:
- Avoid risks of pollution by recovering any unused product and its
packaging.
- Wash your hands and face after treatment.
- Never store the treatment agent inside the tank.
- Never leave the apparatus in a warm environment, nor out in the
sun (picto. 2), or out in the cold (picto .1).
- Store the sprayer out of the reach of children.

USE
Only prepare the quantity of product required and for a single
application.
Preparation of the solution to be sprayed: Please follow the manu-
facturer's instructions for the product that you wish to spray.
- Pump a few times to prime the apparatus ( fig. 10) until spraying
starts (fig.11), then pump at a regular rate.
- Adjust the jet (fig. 12).
- If you spray until there is just air in the jet: the residual volume of
liquid is less than 250ml.
- In all cases, recover any product excess.
For 1-2 litres of cleaning product into the sprayer (the
cleaning product indicated on the packet of the treatment
product used), after checking that this cleaning product
can be used with the sprayer (see chapter "FIELD OF
APPLICATION"). Operate the apparatus, spraying the
cleaning product into a recipient. Then re-treat this product
following the manufacturer's instructions for the cleaning
product.
- Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clear water before
storing and before any other use with another treatment
agent .

COMMISSIONING
- Slide the clip onto the hose (1). Install the hose on the syringe
tubing (2) and on the strainer (2’) (fig. 7).
- Fit the selected nozzle (3, 4) and the connector (5, 6) on the lance
extension, then fit this assembly on the syringe tube (7, 8). Tighten
firmly (fig. 8).
- Plunge the strainer to the bottom of the container with the product
to be sprayed. Attach the clip onto the edge of the container to hold
the hose in place. (fig. 9).
- Keep on the protective clothing, gloves goggles and a mask (picto.
6).
- Do not smoke, eat or drink during use.
- Do not spray in the direction of other people or pets.
- Help protect the environment, only spray plants or trees to be
treated.

MAINTENANCE
- Grease with sprayer grease the nozzle gasket (A), the gasket (B)
and the part of the tube (C) (fig. 13).
- Clean the strainer filter (fig. 14).
Operating errors:
- If the lance is only working in one direction, check that the ele-
ments (E), (F) and (G) are present. If they are missing, replace
them.
-If the lance is leaking between the two sliding parts, check the
condition of the scraper gasket (D) and the gasket (B). Grease and
replace if necessary.
- If the syringe is hard to move: Check that the filter (E) is not
blocked. Clean if necessary. Check the condition of the scraper
gasket (D) and the gasket (B). Grease and replace if necessary.

GUARANTEE
Our sprayers are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of pur-
chase by the user, upon presentation of the purchase invoice or
the receipt only. This guarantee does not cover constructional
defects or material defects and is limited to the supply of parts
recognized as defective by our company. Our guarantee does not
cover equipment that has been modified or equipment that has
been used contrary to the technical recommendations in the
present instructions and specific instructions. Nor does it cover
equipment that has been ill-used or has not been regularly ser-
viced. Our guarantee ceases to be valid where corrosive products
that can damage certain parts of the apparatus are used.
Equally, it does not cover accidents arising from normal wear and
tear of the equipment, or damage or accident arising from the
defective or abnormal use of the equipment.
