AUGER, ICE CUBE CONTAINER / BUCKET AND ICE CRUSHER MOTOR
1.
Remove the ice cube container from the inner freezer door by locating its handle on the right under
side of the bucket. Squeeze the handle to release the container from its secured position and lift the
container off the ice crusher motor cover.
2.
Remove the 4 screws securing the ice crusher motor cover.
3.
Remove the motor shaft by just lifting it off the motor.
4.
Unscrew the two screws to release motor from ice crusher motor cover.
5.
Disconnect wiring connector block by lifting black tag clip away from the connector block.
Note:
when replacing the motor ensure that shaft is on left side as the motor can easily go back in
the wrong way.

FREEZER LAMP COVER & LAMP
1.
Squeeze the sides inwards on the bottom and top of the cover to release the securing tabs.
2.
The lamp has two spade terminations and can be pulled out.
3.
Replace lamp with same type bulb up to maximum 40W.

FREEZER REAR PANELS (EVAPORATOR COVERS)
1.
Remove the freezer furniture (for ease of access if may be required to remove the ice cube
container, refer to F1).
2.
Remove the four sidewall runners and fittings (except sensor probe cover). Note which way up the
runners are attached to the sidewall.
3.
Remove the top section of the rear panel (2 screws).
4.
Remove both lower rear panel sections together (6 screws) to expose the evaporator - (foil
insulation behind the sections joins them together). On reassembly, ensure that the foil insulation is
stuck down properly. Repair any foil damage.

EVAPORATOR FAN MOTOR
1.
Remove the components as in H.
2.
Remove the fan blade (when replacing ensure the fan is completely inserted on the motor shaft to
prevent fan noise issues).
3.
Lift the motor to release the front retaining plastic moulding from its location.
4.
Release the rear retaining plastic moulding to release the motor completely.
5.
Disconnect the 2-pin connector.
6.
When refitting ensure the cables are clicked securely back into the cable mould housing. Clip the
back end in before front end. When clipping the wire connector block back ensure you push
connector clips all the way with a click. This is to ensure a water tight seal.

FAN MOTOR TESTING (only to gain access for testing: defrost heater, fan motor and
cut-out)
1.
Remove middle shelf in freezer.
2.
Remove the 2 bottom screws of the middle rear panel and middle screw of middle panel. Remove
all four screwed in lug supports for the freezer shelf.
3.
Using a chisel knife or similar tool ease the bottom edge of the panel away from the foam pad stuck
behind it.
4.
Lift the bottom edge forward so the panel is approximately at 45°.
5.
Slide the panel forward.
