POWER MODULE Parameters
DEFROST HEATING ELEMENTS
FREEZER FAN OPERATION
SANKYO ICE MAKER IDI
Defrost Heating Elements -
The parameters utilised to start the
defrost cycle are as follows:
•
Compressor ON time since the last defrost cycle.
8 hours,
but the start time will reduce dependant on door
opening times.
•
The appliance is plugged in and switched on.
•
Total time since the last defrost cycle.
50 hours,
but the start time will reduce dependant on door
opening times.
The parameters utilised to end the
defrost cycle are as follows:
•
Maximum time defrost heater is ON.
Approximately 20 minutes
Defrost end temperature (freezer defrost cut-out).
+7°C ± 3°C
Freezer Fan Operation

The freezer fan is managed by the
power module and is switched on/off
after a preset time interval that is
parameterised in the memory after a
compressor start/stop.
After the defrost cycle
the fan starts after a timed interval
following a compressor start, also this interval is
parameterised in the memory;
Compressor 7 minutes PLUS 3 minutes for the Fan
= 10 minutes

Fill tube heater
(2011 NDF Models)
Located on the top end of the fill
tube in the freezer door (IDI) ice
maker.
The fill tube heater is managed by
the power module and is switched
on and off after a pre-set time
interval that is parameterised in the
memory after ice valve activation.
Whenever the ice dispensing stepper motor is activated,
the fill tube heater will switch off. When the ice valve is
activated for a time interval, parameterised in the
memory.
0 - 255 minutes
Time is reset is the ice valve is activated again before the
time has elapsed.
