Setting the Operation Mode
Set the operation mode using the buttons shown
in the figure to the left.
The procedure for setting the operation mode is
explained on the next page.
The machine can fold the sheets using three operation modes.

Setting the Operation Mode
Continuous Folding
The machine performs continuous
folding until the Sheet Feed /
Roller Stop button is pressed, or
the feed section runs out of sheets.

Preset Stop
The machine stops folding auto-
matically when the feeding
counter reaches a preset number.
For example, if the preset number
is set to 50, the machine stops
after feeding 50 sheets.
Preset Pause
The machine pauses for a preset
time when the feed counter reaches
a preset number. After the pause, the
machine begins folding again.
Each pause creates a gap in the row
of folded sheets, because the
delivery conveyor continues to run
during the pause. The folding
operation continues until the Sheet
Feed/Roller Stop button is pressed.
For example, when the preset
counter is set to three, and the pause
feature is operating, the machine
delivers the forms in sets of three.
