Install both sides of the cable at the same time. This
will result in equal tension on both cables.

Slide a sleeve on the cable. Slide the cable through the fi tting.

Slide the cable back through the sleeve. Lightly tension the cables,
then use crimping pliers to secure the sleeve to the cables.
Make sure the loop in the rudder servo arm end
is pulled tight. Failure to do so may result in a
slack line when the process is completed.
24.
Place a drop of thread lock on the cable fi tting near the clevises.
Tighten the nuts over the thread lock and against the clevises, then
slide the retainers over the forks of the clevises.
25.
Tighten the nuts and slide the retainers over the clevises at the
servo to complete the rudder cable installation.
Remember to turn the radio system off at this time.

Use side cutters to remove any excess cable.
The rudder cables may stretch slightly over time. Periodically
check the cables to make sure there is still light tension on them.
TAIL BRACING INSTALLATION
1.
Place a drop of thread lock on an M3 x 10 button head cap screw.
Attach the pre-bent aluminum cable tab to the fuselage using
the screw and 2mm hex wrench. A second tab is installed on the
opposite side of the fuselage.
The kit is supplied with four tabs with a larger screw hole
that are used when rigging the landing gear. Make sure
not to use those tabs when rigging the tail bracing.
2.
Slide am M3 x 20 button head cap screw through a pre-bent
aluminum cable tab. Slide the screws through the hole in the
stabilizer from the top.
4.
Slide am M3 x 20 button head cap screw through a pre-bent
aluminum cable tab. Slide the screws through the hole in the fi n.
5.
Slide a pre-bent aluminum cable tab on the screw, then thread an
M3 locknut on the screw. Tighten the hardware using a 2mm hex
wrench and 5.5mm nut driver.
3.
Slide a pre-bent aluminum cable tab on the screw, then thread an
M3 locknut on the screw. Tighten the hardware using a 2mm hex
wrench and 5.5mm nut driver. Install a second set of tabs on the
opposite side of the stabilizer.
Do not over tighten the hardware and crush the underlying structure.
