Focus the image, and adjust contrast via gain control.

Select pinhole on the camera adapter.

Calibrate the instrument.

Shut off the white light to the micro-
scope, by pulling down on the dual-
lamp-adapter selector knob.

Gently remove the detector with adapter
from the top of the microscope, without
exposing the detector to light.

Remove the filter from the pin-
hole.
