System Operation
Viewing Images
Note
This VCR is not intended to be used as a playback unit. If you want to view
recorded video, remove the tape from this VCR and view it in another VCR.
You may want to review brief clips of recorded video to check settings and setup. To view
images in the vehicle:
1.
Unlock and open the access panel on the front of the VCR enclosure.
2.
Plug a monitor cable into the AUDIO/VIDEO output on the front panel of the VCR.
3.
Plug the other cable end into the AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector on the back of a 12 VDC
or battery powered audio/video monitor.
4.
Start the vehicle or press the
POWER
button for temporary power. The camera light
starts flashing and the VCR automatically starts recording after 10 seconds.
Temporary power puts the VCR into Record mode.
5.
Press the
STOP
button if the VCR is recording.
6.
Press the
REW
(rewind) or
FF
(fast forward) button to search the tape for the desired
image(s).
7.
Press the
PLAY
button to play back the tape.
WARNING!
Do not leave a tape in the VCR if storing the unit for extended
periods.
