System Setup
Understanding the Automatic Daylight Saving Function
The new North American rules for Daylight Saving Time specify a day (always in March)
when clocks are reset forward one hour and another day (always in November) when
clocks are reset back one hour.
Record Speed
You can program the VCR to record at either
EP
and
SP
.
The recording time for a T180 tape is nine hours at EP
speed and three hours at SP speed.
Record Mode
Choose what happens if the end of the tape is reached
during recording. Choose either REW
(the recorder
rewinds the tape to the beginning and continues recording)
or STOP
(the recorder does stop recording at the end of
the tape and does not rewind and start recording again).
Timer On/Off
Enable
or disable the Daily Timer for each setting.
Timer Start
Times
Set to determine the Start (Begin) time for each Daily Timer.
You can independently change:
Hours (
1
to
12
)
Minutes (
00
to
59
)
Timer Start
AM/PM
Set to determine whether the Timer Start time is set for
AM
or
PM
.
Timer Stop
Time
Set to determine the Stop (End) time for each Daily Timer.
You can independently change:
Hours (
1
to
12
)
Minutes (
00
to
59
)
Timer Stop
AM/PM
Set to indicate whether the Timer Stop time is
AM
or
PM
.
Speed Units
Enable or
disable
the
display of the speed sensor.
Choose between
MPH
(miles per hour) and
KPH
(kilometres per hour).
Note
This feature works only if the optional GPS module
is installed.
GPS Position
On/Off
Enable or
disable the display of the vehicle’s position
using the optional HTRGPS module.
The vehicle’s position is given using Latitude and
Longitude markers.
GPS Direction
On/Off
Enable or
disable
the display of the vehicle’s direction
using the optional HTRGPS module.
The vehicle’s direction is displayed in compass positions
(N/NE/E/SE/S/SW/W/NW)
