Mounting

9.1

Installation location

It is recommended that the following criteria are considered when choosing the location for the control unit:

- within a building
- easily accessible
- within a secure zone
- protected from extraordinary environmental conditions, e.g. aggressive vapors, higher air humidity,
etc.
- mounted at eye level
- not visible from the outside
- securely mounted sufficient to resist being pulled off
- adequate spacing between adjacent devices
- inner wall mounting in the secure zone – if the device can only be mounted on the outer wall,
break-through monitoring might be required.
