4.7 6860 Remote Annunciator Installation

The optional Model 6860 Remote Annunciator, shown in Figure 4.21. The 6860 can be surface or flush mounted.

6860 installation involves the following steps:

Make sure power is off at the panel.

Mount the 6860 in the desired location (see Section 4.7.1).

Connect the 6860 to the panel (see Section 4.7.2).

Use the DIP switches on the back of the 6860 to assign an SBUS ID# to the 6860 (see Section 4.11.1).

The 6860 module must be added to the system through programming. JumpStart

AutoProgramming will add the module

automatically (see Section 8.1.3).

4.7.1 Mounting the 6860

This section of the manual describes mounting the remote annunciator. The annunciator can be flush or surface mounted.
