Troubleshooting
The following table provides some recommended remedies for problems that may occur during operation.

The operation panel does not illu-
minate (DMS does not start) after
the power switch is turned on.
The fuse of the device has blown
out.
The fuse needs to be replaced.
The power switch is broken
Repair is necessary.
Electrical system failure
Repair is necessary.

A warning is displayed after start-
ing the operation.
The door is open.
Check whether the door is closed.
Rack set
Verify again that the rack is securely set to the designated
location.
Pette tip is misaligned
Insert the Pette tip back in or replace the Pette and tip.
Verify the content of the warning
display.
Read the warning display items carefully and resolve the
cause of the alarm.
If the cause of the alarm is mechanical or electrical, such
as sensor error display, repair is necessary.

There is no movement after start-
ing the operation (sensor error
warning is displayed).
Electrical system failure
Repair is necessary.
Mechanical section loading failure
Repair is necessary.
Drive belt failure
Repair is necessary.

It does not perform aspiration.
Insufficient amount of reagent solu-
tion
Replenish adequate amount of reagent solution.
The Pette is cracked
Cancel the test, replace Pette(s), and retest with the
proper volume of reagents.

It does not wash.
Insufficient amount of wash solu-
tion
Cancel the test, replace Pette(s), and retest with the
proper volume of reagents.
There is abnormality in the piping
line
Repair is necessary.
