Running Tests Screen
Once testing has started, the Running Test screen appears (see Figure 5-14). A timer appears that counts down to the testing completion
time.
Note:
Do not turn off the power to the AP3600 at any time during analysis. Doing so will cause loss of patient results. If the run
needs to be canceled during testing, press the
Cancel Run
button at any time.
WARNING: Pettes CANNOT be reused on the AP3600 after a test is canceled.

Each Pette number is listed on the right. The
Step
column displays the current step. A checkmark appears in the relevant column as the
following checks are complete:
• S: Serum aspiration verified by CCD camera check
• A: Antibody aspiration verified by CCD camera check
• P: Photoreagent aspiration verified by CCD camera check
Note:
For user safety, the right side cover cannot be opened once the run starts. The left side door can be opened after serum
aspiration is complete so the sample vials can be removed and appropriately stored.
