Mounting the device

4.2.1

Installing the device onto the DIN rail

Note:

The device is for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with DIN

EN 60715.

Requirements:



Install the device in a location where the climatic threshold values
specified in the technical data are adhered to.

See “Technical data” on page 57.



Ensure that there is sufficient room to connect the bus and power supply
cabling.



Connect the optical fiber line before mounting the repeater as this
simplifies the procedure.

Proceed as follows:



Slide the upper snap-in guide of the device into the DIN rail.



Press the device downwards onto the clip-in bar.
