4.3.3 EDG (Edge) LED
The Edge LED (labelled EDG , see position (4) in section Device

page 12]) indicates the configuration and operating states of
the IO-Link sensor(s).

EDG Duo LED yellow/green

Off IO-Link functionality has not been started yet.
(yellow)
Fast blinking at 5
Hz IO-Link functionality has been started and is in
auto-configuration state.
(green)
Slow blinking at
1 Hz Auto-configuration of IO-Link sensors has
failed (e.g. no IODD file found). Manual
configuration of IO-Link sensors is required
(e.g. upload of IODD file via IO-Link
Configurator in Local Device Manager).
(green)
On IO-Link sensor configuration and
communication ok.
(yellow/
green)
Alternating at 1
Hz IO-Link setup/configuration change during
runtime detected. Maintenance may be
required using the IO-Link Configurator in Local
Device Manager.
