ATTENTION
y
Tasks marked with the X
(3)
symbol must be perfor-
med only by an authorised service centre for the
HERON® brand and tasks marked with X
(4)
by a
qualified inspection technician, see below. Other
tasks may be performed by the user themselves.
Note
X
(1)
Perform the first oil change after the first 5 hours of
operation because there may be fine metal dust from
the engine's bores present in the oil, which may cause
the oil sensor to short-circuit.
X
(2)
Inspection of the air filter must be performed every
time before the generator is put into operation
since a clogged air filter prevents air from flowing
to the carburettor, which damages the carburettor
and the engine. Clean the filter every 50 operating
hours according to the procedure described below,
when used in a dusty environment every 10 hours
or more frequently - depending on the dustiness
of the environment. In the event of heavy soiling
or wear/damage, replace it with a new original part
from the manufacturer.
X
(3)
These maintenance points may only be performed by
a service centre authorized for the HERON® brand. The
performance of the tasks by a different service centre
or by the user themselves will be assessed as unautho-
rised tampering with the product, the result of which is
the voiding of the warranty (see Warranty conditions).

inspection of electrical equipment, the inspection and
checks of all types of generators may only be perfor-
med by an inspection technician qualified for electrical
equipment, who is certified to perform these tasks, i.e.
a knowledgeable person.
In the event that the generator is utilised in a commer-
cial application then it is necessary for the operator, in
the sense of labour employment legal regulations and
on the basis of actual operating conditions and poten-
