The electromagnetic environment in which the System will be operated should be
evaluated prior to operation of the device. Do not use the System in close proximity to
sources of strong electromagnetic radiation (e.g. unshielded intentional RF sources) as
these can interfere with the proper operation.
Note: It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to provide equipment electromagnetic
compatibility information to the customer or user.
Note: It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that a compatible electromagnetic
environment for the equipment can be maintained in order that the device will perform as
intended.
10.3 IVD Medical Device Directive
The System complies with the IVD Medical Device Directive 98/79/EC and carries the CE
mark.
10.4 Warranty
The Analyzer and Docking Stations carry a 24-month warranty from the day of receipt. After
the warranty period, service/repair is carried out at fixed prices. Any other use of the System
than recommended by the manufacturer, including opening the cover of the Analyzer, will
void the warranty.
10.5 Service and Disposal
Prior to service and disposal the Analyzer and Docking Stations should be cleaned as
recommended in Instructions for Use. Consult your local environmental authorities for
proper disposal.
