  Continuous setting of emissivity 

5.2.13.2.

Emissivity may be set continuously if adjusting emissivity via digital communication interface or via display 
is not possible or desired. Therefore a signal in proportion to emissivity is fed in at analog input.  
 
The reference of voltage level (1 to 10 V)) to emissivity (0.0 to 1.0) is static.  
10 V correspond to emissivity 1. Voltage levels below the lowest adjustable emissivity are interpreted as  
exceeding  of the analog input and report error message 

“external underflow”.  

 

Note

: 

Selection „Emissivity“ is only possible if “Ambi. Temp” in menu “Emiss/Trans/Refl” is not set to “Ex-

ternal” and the Emissivity Mode of the instrument is activated. Otherwise a window appears in order to 
change the configuration of the ambient temperature.
