Configuration of memory function
If the temperature of moving material is to be measured cyclically and minimum and respectively maximum
value is to be evaluated, memory functions are helpful.
Maximum and respectively minimum value memories are continually updated by the Infrared Radiation
Thermometer. Stored data may be interrogated by command and switched to analog output, too.
Commands for the configuration of memory functions and for the configuration of the analog output are
to be found
in HEITRONICS document “Universal Protocol”.
Stored data can be adapted optimally to the corresponding application. At first memories may be reset by
external activation of the digital input (trigger) and prepared for new materials or a new measuring cycle.
Secondly stored values of two measured targets may be dropped and respectively increased well-defined.
Furthermore a stored algorithm within the instrument which is meant to self-reset on the basis of configu-
rable parameters may be activated.
