Cleaning instructions

Follow all general and specific instructions of the manufacturer
on handling the cleaning agents and disinfectants used.

Follow all generally applicable regulations and rules regarding
handling the cleaning agents and disinfectants used.

Refer to the safety data sheets for the cleaning agents and
disinfectants used.
Implement the following cleaning protocol to clean the system:

Special cleaning agents and disinfectants must be used in medical facilities and cell
biology laboratories due to the increased hygiene requirements.
➜
Ideally, follow the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute, which defines and
summarizes different disinfectants for different areas.

Chemical disinfectants with different active ingredients were tested as part of the
development of the S-biosystems system platform. The following table summarizes

For proper disinfection and cleaning, follow all the instructions of the respective
manufacturer on proper use. This is the only way to ensure adequate protection.

Use damp lint-free cloths to clean the system components.
➜
Apply appropriate care when cleaning areas with recesses and connection sockets/
contacts.
➜
In particular, in the area of recesses and connection sockets/contacts, make sure
that cleaning agents and disinfectants are removed without leaving behind residues
after the cleaning work has been completed.
➜
When cleaning the S-boxes, in particular, make sure that sterile inner boxes are not
wetted and therefore made unusable.
➜
Wear the recommended personal protective equipment if necessary.
